A DEAD LAPTOP

I am devastated again. My brand new (Jan 2013) ASUS has died on moi. There I was busily emailing and listening to BBC radio on itunes and SUDDEN DEATH.....of a very close companion.

I am lost without this as I use it for mail, skype, music, news, work (especially in the rainy days that are now becoming more frequent)

As I am not sleeping very well it was a constant companion in the early wee hours of the morning, helping me not to go off my rocker.

If I send it to a repair shop here my warranty will also die and how familiar are work shops here with Windows 8...I know not.

I am writing this on "" office computer"" whose true user is away (normal in Cambodia) and so my access is limited and I''m not sure how virus free it is from the point of view of sticking my USB stick in (sounds odd that)

And any of the photos i was going to use for the blog died with the pc...acone acone

So blog land will be seeing less of me unless things change OR it may be a content driven blog with few images..(giving my age away again)


ANYWAY  my recent offering has had quite a few views as I

noticed you can get stats on your blog and wow you would never know who's listening in (you see i am betraying my age ..if a blog was a radio).  I also notice that while 1 person from S Korea is tuning in there is nobody from N Korea  (not even a hacker or cyber warrior)....are they other wise engaged. Its nice to see Ireland on top of the charts in something
