Raffles...Mondulkiri
Gated community (of one..moi)
The temple of lack of sleep
I think international mosquito day was this week and I received from my internet (dongle) supplier that read as follows
"If you don't use mosquito net you are died " (verbatim)
The dressing table in the spare room (each of the 2 bedrooms has a bontup teuk but no proper draining system)
Bontup Tuek.....means the room of water
The table for things ants and rats have no interest in, including short wave radio
The breakfast room
View from breakfast room
The sitting room with typical heavy Cambodian hard wood lounging chair
The music studio
The kitchen (shed) and motorbike refuge at night
The ant and rat proof cabinet for soft food etc
This morning I did some washing..of the stuff I don't send to the laundry lady
The Whirlpool washing machine
My avocado tree...have eaten three today already (they need a few days to ripen off the tree)
Some future dessert growing in back garden
A bit of colour in the garden
My guard dog. She has no name inspite of the many dogs around here the locals are not doggy people
In contrast you could stay in Raffles in Phnom Penh about $ 200 a night (same as my monthly rent in Raffles Mondulkiri)
Oh well life is bit of a lottery and I never win at raffles......
On the other hand the home help is pretty (good)......Cambodian Dreaming
